The Corsair K70 Pro RGB Keyboard is Corsair's mid to high range gaming peripheral designed for comfort and extremely low latency. The keyboard itself is mounted on a simulated stainless steel finished backdrop, with raised white keys. The keys are coated to be resistant to sweat and feature bright LEDs (brighter than other premium brands I have had exposure too).The downside to this design is if you are not careful, it is quite easy to trap pieces of debris behind the keys as the gaps are relativity wide although this is countered by its accessibility when cleaning. The keyboard itself is powered by a braided USB C cable, much more comfortable than a traditional USB B and easier to replace in the worse case scenario. The macro keys are a nice touch and the media bar is extremely smooth and feels like a luxury. The wrist rest is magnetic and raises your wrist just above the corner of your desk to avoid friction against the edge, it is made from a mesh leather but feels sturdy and rigid.The keys are created in house by Corsair, in this instance using the OPX hybrid switches for faster actuation speed but sacrifices the tactile sensation and the sound that some people crave - this is however, available in a few variations. The LEDs are controlled and customised using Corsairs ICUE system which assimilates other Corsair products you might have for an interesting dynamic of colours and effects. Ultimately, this form factor keyboard ticks all the boxes one would expect in a high performing keyboard to fulfil the balance of both work and play.
